A Journey from the Wilds of Nevada to a Forever Wild Home

Get to Know Me

I'm a beautiful bay mare with a little star on my forehead and a white coronet marking on my left hind leg. I was born around April 2020, and my herd of origin was Nevada's Triple B herd area.

My BLM records show that by October 2020, when I was only about six months old, I was already receiving care in a holding facility. While my exact capture date isn't listed, I was still just a baby when my life on the open range came to an end.

The BLM identified me as #5490,  But I'm so much more than a number. I'm a wild horse with a story, and after spending nearly my entire life in holding, I'm still waiting for someone special to give me a name of my own.

Could you be the one to name me?

Now, at approximately six years old, a wonderful new chapter is waiting for me. After spending almost my entire life away from the range, I finally have the opportunity to experience something I have barely known — the freedom to roam across wide-open spaces, surrounded by other wild horses, at my forever home with Rewilding America Now.

For most of my life, my world has been defined by fences and holding facilities. But now, thanks to the kindness and generosity of people who care, I have the chance to discover a different kind of life, one with thousands of acres to explore and the companionship of other wild horses.

My story isn't finished. The best chapter may be just beginning.
