Get to Know Me

I’m a beautiful bay mare with a little star on my forehead and a distinctive white marking on my left hind leg. I was born around January 2021 in Utah’s Swasey herd area, where I spent my early years living wild and free.

On July 24, 2024, when I was approximately three and a half years old, my life changed when I was rounded up and removed from the land I called home.

The BLM identified me as #2890,  But thanks to someone who cares about my future, I will soon have something much more personal — a name of my very own.

Now, at approximately five years old, a wonderful new chapter is waiting for me. I have the opportunity to leave holding behind and return to a life with room to roam, surrounded by other wild horses, at my forever home with Rewilding America Now.

I may have lost the freedom I was born into, but thanks to the kindness and generosity of people who care, I have the chance to experience that freedom again.

My story isn’t finished. The best chapter may be just beginning.
