HI, I'M Arden!
A Journey from the Wilds of Oregon to a Forever Wild Home

Get to Know Me
My name is Arden, and I'm a handsome bay gelding with a small star on my forehead. I was born around January 2022 in Oregon's Murderers Creek herd area, where I spent my early years living wild and free.
On November 30, 2024, when I was not quite three years old, my life changed when I was rounded up and removed from the land I called home.
The BLM identified me as #9540, but thanks to someone who cared enough to help give me a second chance, I now have something much more special — a name of my own, Arden.
Now, at approximately four years old, I have the opportunity to leave holding behind and experience freedom again at Rewilding America Now, where thousands of acres await and I'll have room to roam alongside other wild horses.
I will always have my beginnings in the wild, and although I cannot return to the life I once knew, thanks to the kindness of people who care, I have the chance for a wonderful new life filled with freedom.
A Special Thank You to My Freedom Ride Supporter
MY NEW NAME: Arden
LOVINGLY SPONSORED AND NAMED BY
An Anonymous Supporter
Someone special chose to help make Arden's journey to freedom possible, asking for nothing in return except the knowledge that another wild horse will have the opportunity to live wild again.
Although this generous supporter wishes to remain anonymous, their kindness will forever be part of Arden's story.
Thank you for giving Arden more than a name. You are helping give him a future filled with freedom.
Every Wild Horse Deserves a Chance at Freedom
Arden is one of 18 wild horses preparing for their Freedom Ride to Rewilding America Now, where thousands of acres await and they will have the opportunity to live out their lives in a natural, wild setting.
With our 100% matching opportunity, a $500 donation becomes $1,000, helping sponsor a wild horse's journey to their forever home. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference.
Together, we are turning hope into freedom — one wild horse at a time.
